Global Digital Labs is a Scottish technology company creating open-source AI and blockchain products for education, analytics, and social impact.
GDLabs started as a community initiative in the Scottish Highlands. Over a decade of grassroots work across three continents taught us what technology can do when it is built for people — and what it fails to do when it is not. In 2025, we turned those lessons into products.
The beginning
Founded as Global Digital (Community) Ltd in Callander, Scotland. Started with a simple belief: technology should serve communities, not the other way around.
Serving communities across borders
Built digital transformation projects across the UK, Malawi, Cameroon, Cyprus, and Ukraine. Each project reinforced what we knew — practical technology creates lasting change.
From community to product
Renamed to Global Digital Labs Ltd and pivoted to AI and blockchain product development. Launched EDUAgentic, InfoLens, and Launch Impact — turning a decade of community insight into scalable platforms.
Scaling what works
Exhibited at BETT 2026, open-sourced SynapseOS, and continued building products that put people first. The mission has not changed — only the scale.

Digital transformation leader with over 30 years of experience across government and private sectors. Founded Global Digital Community CIC in 2013 in Scotland, dedicated to making education accessible globally. Leads GDLabs vision of building technology that removes barriers to learning. Exhibited at BETT 2026 launching the EduAgentic platform. Works with communities across UK, Malawi, Cameroon, Cyprus, and Ukraine on inclusive learning initiatives.

Co-Founder & Head of Technology
Technology architect with 18+ years of enterprise experience and dual MSc degrees in Applied AI and Engineering Management. Holds 9 patents in AI systems and has published research in IEEE. Previously led engineering teams at Turkcell Technology and Yatas Group. At GDLabs, builds the technical foundation across the entire product portfolio — from AI agent infrastructure to blockchain protocols. Industry Advisory Board member at University of Bolton.
